Rockinchair Productions 2020 is a newly formed company since the beginning of 2020.
It has been in development for many years and is the brainchild of Claire Lamontagne Brown and more recently David Bloom.
We are dedicated to honor Claire’s late husband Jeff Soulman Brown. Jeff was a lyricist, vocalist and prolific Hammond B-3 Organist.
We’ve brought Jeff’s original works back to Life in fresh updated versions under the direction of Ronald “Rock” Laster, James Brown’s former Musical Director for 28 years.
We’ve also brought back together Fred Thomas (Bass, Vocal Arrangements) & Tony Cook (Drums) who both played with Mr. James Brown for over 30 years.
Lisa Rushton(Background Vocals) James Brown Band for 15 years has joined our family as well.
Another James Brown alumni member is James “Keith” Jenkins (Lead Guitar) 12 years.
Micah Mabson (Bass) has recently joined our musical family.
He has played with Bobby Jones Gospel, Patti Labelle, Patti Austin, Barbara Mandrell, Andre Crouch, The San Francisco Symphony, Charlie Pride, Sheila E and Kirk Franklin.
Our family of professional seasoned musicians are now known as “SOUL DE LUNE” collectively with over 120 years of experience in the field.
We are also assembling new younger generation talent including Journell (J) Henry and Cardell ”Creole King” Henry who are fraternal twins. The talent runs so deep in the Henry family that it’s hard to keep up with.

We are elated to be carrying on Mr. Brown’s unfinished creative works as he left this World far too soon!
Mr. Brown’s lasting footprint and inspiration continues to shine upon us.
